My son has been having a bad cough lately, and medications are not helping. Maybe weather is too dry and air quality is not good. The doctor said that this year there are a lot of allergy sufferers. A few days ago I boiled papaya and snow mushroom, my son had less cough and after eating it got better, so yesterday I boiled another large pot.
Ingredients 1 and a half snow mushroom 1 medium papaya 2 tablespoons southern apricot 2 tablespoons northern apricot 2 tablespoons ChuanbeiSoak snow fungus in water, remove roots and rinse.
Soak northern and southern apricots and chuanbei in water for 30 minutes. (Afraid of preservatives or something.)
Place snow fungus, northern and southern apricots, chuanbei and rock sugar in a small soup pot, bring water to a boil, turn on low heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Peel papaya, remove the seeds and white gluten inside (it is bitter), cut into small pieces. (This papaya is so sweet, eat it while cutting it.)
Add papaya and cook for another 30 minutes.
Cleanses and beautifies skin, eliminates phlegm and relieves coughs.
